Fast-Track Peer Review Track Introduced for Clinical Trials with Practice-Changing Potential

The International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Medicine (IJCPM) has introduced a Fast-Track Peer Review pathway for selected clinical trials and high-impact studies with the potential to meaningfully influence clinical practice.

The pathway is designed for manuscripts reporting timely, methodologically robust findings that may have important implications for patient care, pharmacotherapy, clinical decision-making, medication safety, or healthcare delivery.

Eligible submissions may include randomized controlled trials, major comparative effectiveness studies, clinically important safety analyses, and other prospective investigations addressing significant unmet clinical needs.

Manuscripts accepted for Fast-Track consideration will receive priority editorial assessment and expedited peer review, while maintaining the same standards for scientific rigor, ethical oversight, transparency, and independent evaluation applied to all IJCPM submissions.

Fast-Track designation does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions will continue to be based on methodological quality, originality, clinical relevance, reporting standards, and the strength of the evidence presented.

With this initiative, IJCPM aims to support the timely dissemination of high-quality research that may contribute to meaningful improvements in clinical pharmacy and medical practice.
